Can School Environment Effect the Willingness to Seeking Help and Prevalence of Bullying among Middle School Students

Background: Current school climate theories believe that it is a multidimensional concept relates to the experiences students have during their day. According National School Climate Center, affects interactions of all students, teachers, and parents in school. It also reflects values, beliefs, teaching learning Objective(s): The aim this study determine whether environment effect willingness seeking help prevalence bullying among middle students. Methodology: descriptive correlational design has been considered subtype research, with its primary purpose being examine relationships between variables referred occasionally as simple design. was carried out at public schools for males females Baghdad City. included convenience sample male who agreed participate study. subjects were recruited from six schools. Thus, recommended size would be 305. Results: There no statistically significant difference help, bullying, grade groups. Conclusion: greater larger bullying. better climate. Recommendations: officials Ministry Education establish school-based zero-tolerance violence policy.
